Okay ladies:

1. What book are you currently reading? Brief description? Xenofreak Nation...it's a dystopian book. I just started it last night, so I haven't really gotten the full jist of it yet. The last book I finished up last night is called The Scourge (another dystopian).

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? In the theater, Hunger Games. At home, the second Sherlock Holmes

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why?
hmmm...I've never actually thought of this.Probably Abraham Lincoln to see how he would feel about being a vampire hunter

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc.
Lounging for sure. It never happens, but I always hope to not do anything but read my Kindle and relax on a beach somewhere.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning?
Nothing. I have a hard time eating breakfast, but I need to start. These boot camp classes at 5:30 in the morning are kicking my butt without it.

1. What book are you currently reading? Brief description? Wild Fire by Nelson DeMille. It's about a secret government plot of retaliation for 9/11 and the hilarious detective who tries to uncover it.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? In the theater, The Dictator. At home, we rented Gone last night and it was extremely disappointing.

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why? Federico Garcia Lorca because the Spanish Civil War is one of my favorite periods of history to learn and read about, and I love his work.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc. Historical/cultural with lots of galleries, museums, tours, churches, and especially lots of restaurants with authentic food.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning? I haven't eaten yet because I need to get my work-out on, but when I'm done I'll have a banana, raspberry, blueberry, and protein powder smoothie. Trying to be good.

1. What book are you currently reading? Brief description? Not actively reading anything at the moment because I'm trying to write. That's not really working either.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? In theaters, The Avengers. (Twice, actually.) We're going to see Brave tomorrow. Not in theaters, I watched most of Titanic on Sunday.

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why? Nikola Tesla (preferably pre-insanity). I'd want to pick his brain, and I'd let him know what kind of legacy he left.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc. Low key, but not quite lounging. We usually go for shopping, sightseeing, and lots of eating.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning? Had a bowl of cereal before work, and a couple of Special K bars just now. Still hungry.

I am rereading (for probably the 4th time) Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen?
Snow White and the Huntsman. I thought it was good but I was a bit disappointed in the ending. (I would say more but I don't want to give anything away)

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why?
Queen Elizabeth. It would be interesting to talk to her about her life, her accomplishments, her likes and dislikes. Things that a normal person would never dare ask the Queen.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc.
A combo of lounging and active. I couldn't imagine going on a vacation for a week or more and doing absolutely nothing because I would be bored out of my mind so I do like taking a few days for activities and excursions.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning?
A small ziploc baggie of dry honey nut cheerios. Super exciting I know!

I'm also reading The Art of Racing in the Rain, pretty interesting, I've never considered the family dog's POV.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen?
I last saw The Hunger Games at the theater. At home, we seem to be watching Mr. Popper's Penguins a lot.

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why?
I'd like to chat with Martha Washington, Abigail Adams, any of the early First Ladies. I'm completely fascinated with early American history.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc.
All of the above! While I like to relax, I get bored quickly and need something to do.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning?
a cup of coffee and a bowl of Lucky Charms

1. What book are you currently reading? Brief description? I'm in between books. The next one I'm going to start reading is the latest James Patterson Women's Murder Club book.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? Rock of Ages

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why? Well they're not necessarily historical but I would love to have met and talked to all of the Beatles. They're one of my favorite bands and were such innovative musicians during their time and after. I'd also love to have a chat with Shakespeare because I find him interesting and love his work.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc. I like a mixture of lounging around and doing activities

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why? Geronimo, or any other prominent Native American because I somehow feel connected to them. Weird, I know.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc. I'd love to have either a relaxing vacation or a Historical one, but we always end up having an active one.

Medical books for work.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen?
Moonrise Kingdom.

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why?
Florence Nightingale. I think it would be interesting to hear, first hand, how she changed the medical world (well everyone's world since we all benefit from her ideas).

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc.
I like a good mix. On our honeymoon we had lounging, activities, & history. I think if you just stick to one it can become boring.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning?

Nothing yet. Just woke up but probably some coffee and a homemade breakfast burrito.

1. What book are you currently reading? Brief description? The Weird Sisters. It is about three sisters who are forced to sort out their lives when they return home to their parents house after their mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? DH and I saw Brave this past weekend. Not Pixar's best but I liked Princess Merida

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why? Eleanor of Aquitaine. She was Queen of France and Queen of England yet she is known throughout history by her own birthright as the Duchess of Aquitaine. She conned the King of France into a divorce, plotted with Henry II to marry him and make England a powerhouse, supported her sons in a failed overthrow of Henry when he wouldn't let her have a say in governance of even Aquitaine, went on the Crusades and ruled England in the absence of her son Richard the Lionheart. She was more than a thousand years ahead of her time.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc. Historical. I can't do the laying on a beach thing for more than a couple of days and I like seeing the places I read about in historical novels.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning? I bring Carnation Breakfast Express with me in a thermos every morning. I have a 45 minute commute and if I drink it at home, my bladder won't make it to work.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? The Avengers. It was awesome! I love superhero movies!

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why? Napoleon, to see if he really was just trying to compensate for being so short.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc. A combo of relaxation and adventures. The honeymoon to Hawaii is in 10 days and we have days to relax on the beach and days with boat tours and tubing adventure. And we are popping over to Oahu so H can see Pearl Harbor as he is a history buff.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning? Oatmeal - Raisins & Spice flavored.

1. What book are you currently reading? The Hunger Games and also, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. It's a true story of a poor farmer whose cells were taken without her knowledge and were used for developing the polio vaccine, PAP smear, In vitro research and more. Her cells have been used and sold by the billions, even to this day, for research....they are known as the HeLa cells. Sadly, her nor her family members have even been compensated for this, yet any woman on the planet, pretty much owes a shred of their own health to her. HBO is making a movie about this and I cannot wait to see it!

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? I fell asleep watching The Hangover II last night.

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why? John F. Kennedy--I have always been fascinated with him as a President and how he moved and shaped our country during such a tumultuous time. There was a time that Americans would stand up in protest for what they believe in....sadly, those times have changed. Yes, people still protest, but it's not the same from the 60's when the entire country wanted change as a whole and it ended up becoming a movement.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc. Sitting on the beach, reading a book. I shall be doing this in 24 days!!

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning? If I had my way, it would've been my co-workers head on a plate. I settled for a NutriGrain bar....apple cinammon tyvm

What didn't she do is the real question here......too much to list. I have an interview tomorrow morning and I am pretty psyched about it. Better pay, better hours and less stress. I've been here for over 4 yrs and it has become a very negative environment and I can't handle the stress anymore. I try to be the happy-go-lucky one to keep everyone else's spirits up, but to no avail unfortunately :)

1. What book are you currently reading? Brief description? None at the moment; I've definitely fallen behind on my reading but the last book I read was "Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?" by Mindy Kaling, the girl from The Office. It was a quick and easy read, and pretty funny as well.

2. What is the most recent movie you have seen? Just saw Moonrise Kingdom, which I was pleasantly surprised by.

3. If you could have a conversation with any historical figure, who would it be? Why? I would want to meet Frida Kahlo because I think she must have been such a fascinating person and I'm a little bit obsessed with her art work.

4. What is your style of vacation? Lounging, active, historical, etc.
I like a mix of all three. I get bored easily if I'm just sitting on a beach for 5 days straight but I also don't want to be running all over the place non-stop. When I visit other countries I definitely like to experience as much of the local culture as I can.

5. What did you have for breakfast this morning? A bowl of cereal, my usual.
