HELP please with my rehersal dinner...

hi,
i just found out that the beautiful rooftop lounge that we were going to hold our rehersal dinner for free at has been rented out and we missed the boat!!!
were already maxing out $ for the reception in ny-broolyn waterfront so this is a big disappointment. does anyone have any ideas PLEASE for hosting about 35-40 ppl for the rehersal dinner in ny? were on a tight budget so im not sure we can handle paying indvl. plates of $15+

    Can you do it the day before?
    We are getting married on Sunday and are planning on having rehearsal on Thursday or Friday.
