Charger Plates question

I have been on the look out for silver charger plates - I am nervous to rent them from someone like ABC Rental just because they get used EVERY weekend and I don't know what type of condition they'll be in. Anyone had any experience with them? I've seen in previous posts on the knot that some brides buy them for their wedding and sell them for $1, but I haven't seen any lately.

Any tips as to where I can purchase them for cheap or a good place to rent them from? Thanks!

I bought the ones from the dollar store. Online you have to buy them in a variety pack i believe, but if you go into the store you can get all one shape. I got mostly round ones, they are a little small but for the price I will take it. They are cute, I also bought some oval ones and will be putting chalkboard paint in the middle of the charger and putting them on a little tripod stand at the bar etc for little signs at the reception and writing specialty cocktails and stuff on them in chalk. hope this helps!

Thanks! I definitely need all silver and the website only offers an assorted pack...I'll go check out the actual store and see if I can get enough there!

I rented 130 silver chargers from All Seasons Rental on Transit Rd E. Amherst, NY. They have a Rochester location, as well - $0.89 per plate.
