wedding cakes

i live in brooklyn ny and my wedding is also in brooklyn on may 29 2011 does anyone know of cake bakeries they can recommend that are not over the top priced?

    I am getting marrie din April in Brooklyn and i am having the same problem. There must be lots of bakeries , but there is so little info on them and the ones featured here are ridiculously over priced!

    I used City Sweets, and it was the cheapest I could find at $7 a slice. I wouldn't say her customer service is the best, but she delivered the cake on time and it was delicious. There's also A Simple Cake by Gail Watson, which starts at $6 a slice.

    try buono bakery on staten island its only right over the bridge...they are really good not sure of the pricing but the cakes are excellent

    baked!!  in red hook -- the cakes taste amazing and are also very reasonably priced.
