Greenville?

OK, I have a meeting to set  up for work in Greenville.... I need a space that will hold at least 50 people... and that we can either cater food (or use theirs, if it's a restaurant). I needs to be a private room- so a restaurant is fine as long as we can have privacy... any ideas welcome!

I don't know anything about ecu's campus, but am open to using space there if someone could point me in the right direction! Thanks girls!

    I'm not really sure if you'll find a place on campus that isn't already booked. Things go fast around here. I know my sorority has to plan months and months ahead if we need to use space on campus.

    How fancy do you need this to be?

    Edit: I don't know how this posted with half of what I typed in here...let's try again...

    City Hotel has some nice conference rooms and they can cater.  It's also easy to find right on Greenville Blvd.  There's a new hotel near there too, Hampton Inn maybe, that probably would be nice. 

    I don't know ECU's policy for facility use by non-student groups, or how far out you're planning this gathering for.  Also I think that if you have a catered event on campus is has to be catered by Aarmark, the dining services people.  That may have changed.  Some places that may work on campus would include the Sweetheart Cafe at Todd Dining hall, or the Willis Building which is on 1st street.

    When I worked as an intern, we had several board meetings there, and its a very nice space.

    I don't know if you will have pricacy at Finalli's (btw random fact: thats were FI proposed and we had our first date!!) or CPWs..although both very very nice places to go. There are quite a few hotels that have rooms that allow for meetings.  

    The Hilton, The Hampton Inn (brand spankin new), there is a big nice Holiday Inn near the hospital.

    We have a decent size Mcalister's Deli and they have a separate room that has doors that can be closed off for events. You said privacy not sure exactly how much you need the doors are pretty much completely glass with tons of glass windows.

    The Murphy center would be awesome but I image it being VERY expensive it overlooks the stadium.
     
    I know you can rent out the upstairs of HAM's.  Its a restraint by day a bar by night but the food is ok. 

    Not sure if Starlight Cafe (its in the downtown area) has a separate area but I heard its nice.
