Yay, Friday! It's beem the longest week ever.

Tonight, BF and I might go see Argo. I would like to go but, I may be too tired after making dinner and what not. We may just watch a few episodes of 'Carnivale'. I never watched it while the show was on HBO and someone gave us the DVDs to borrow and I love the show so far.

Saturday I have to work on a take home test, and then I'll probably do some laundry. BF and I may go to Swan Trail Farms with a few friends and get some pumpkins and hang out. Or we may do that Sunday so I'm not sure. Other than that it sounds like it'll be a chill weekend. It's been raining here so it gives me zero motivation.

I wouldn't even be strong enough to take on the high schoolers. I would be knocking all the 'know it all' biznatches out.

  • Feel better Liv! I love that you Volunteer to help cats.  My mom does a ton of that stuff, my old bedroom at home usually has cats my mom will take in and try to adopt.  She gets them all fixed and everything too.  She works with an organization that helps get the cats home and finds fosters for strays until they get their forever homes.

Haha you think? To middle schoolers you are OLD! My sister in 6th grade told me the other day that I'm "too old and don't understand" (I'm 23!) - I was trying to persuade her to pick a bikini that covered slightly more skin than the string bikini she wants (but will not be getting). One of her friends asked me if I used calculators when I was in school or if they hadn't been invented yet. I think high schoolers have a better idea of the difference.

Feel better soon, Liv! That is great that you work with feral cats.  There is a feral cat that hangs out by my apartment that looks just like my cat, Mouse.  Except instead of being fat like my cat, he is a healthy weight...so we call him Skinny Mouse.

But Peek, if they're still in Girl Scouts, they shouldn't be that bad, right? I dropped out after 4th grade because I had a horrible leader who just wanted us to sell cookies all day.

I'm going to a Halloween party tomorrow. Tonight we'll either go out to dinner or I might actually cook (oh the horror!). I really wanted poached salmon when we went to Ikea last week, but they didn't have any. So I bought the stuff to make it at home.

  • Heyyy ladies!

I just finished doing a serious deep cleaning of my house. I have friends coming to visit for homecoming weekend at my alma mater, and then we leave for VACATION on Sunday. I'm so freakin excited I can barely stand it.

My car is in the shop today, getting new tires (to the tune of...way too much money), and making sure everything is in order for us to drive it to FL. So, I had to do all my errands for this weekend and vacation yesterday, after I worked Wednesday night-into Thursday. I was so exhausted I came home and passed out on the couch for like 5 hours. I think it messed up my normal sleep schedule, though, because I was awake at 4:30 am, and could not fall back asleep. Now I'm tired. Perhaps I'll take another nap on the couch.

I guess I am officially on vacation now, though, since all my chores are done!

    hahahha awwww

Tomorrow I'm volunteering at the Buddy Walk to benefit people with Down syndrome then coming home to fog the house because a certain low rider brought fleas in. We're gonna do a super deep clean of the house tomorrow as well because we're leaving on vacation on Monday and one of my coworkers is staying here, so it's gotta look at least passable.

Sunday is the Color Run (<a href="http://thecolorrun.com/nashville/" rel="nofollow">clicky</a>)!! I cannot even begin to explain how stoked I am about this. There are maybe like fifteen of us from SCRI going as a team. My friend/coworker Brandy went and picked up my registration packet today, and the powder that I got in it is purple, so I'm just sayin' that I'm there for pancreatic cancer. It's going to be totally amazing -- it's like Holi and a cancer walk all in one :D.

And then Monday, we leave to go to New Orleans for our anniversary! Yay!

  • [QUOTE]Then tomorrow it's off to the barn to get the princess all prettied up for the horse show on Sunday! Sunday is the last show of the season and I'm currently in 3rd place overall. I'm only 8pts behind the chick in 2nd place and I'm really hoping for a good day, good rides, and knocking her out so I can win the Reserve Champion cooler. So, please for "no falling off" vibes?

It's nice to see another horse nut on here.  We crazy horse people feel more comfortable in numbers.   :)   I have a half-Arab mare I used to compete with in eventing.  Our dressage is CRAP, though, hehe.

As for my Friday, I've been a lazy bum allll day so far.  I've been stuffing my gob, watching SYTTD, napping through the cloudy/drizzly weather and just wasting time.  I'm tempted to feel guilty, but I'm too lazy even for that.  My huge to-do list is yet again neglected.  *sigh*

Hope you all have a great evening!
  • OH!  And bean!  Good luck to you!  I'll send sticky-butt-in-the-saddle vibes your way.  :)
