brown dresses...black tuxes?

So I love the color brown.  My girls will wear a dark brown cocktail dress.  Any shade or style of gold shoe and they will cary fall colored flowers (orange, yellow, green, purple etc.) Im stumped for the boys.  Will black tuxes look ok?  I wasn't planning on having them wear brown vests, I was thinking champagne or something along those lines.  Thoughts?  Anyone have pics of a black and brown wedding?

    My cousin did black tuxes and chocolate brown dresses.  It was elegant, not clashy.  The men wore black tuxes and no vests, so it wasn't too much black.  I don't have a pic on the internet, sorry.

    My brother and sister in law had brown dresses and tan suits. Personally, I don't like the brown and black combo.

    I was a bridesmaid in my sister's wedding.  We wore brown dresses, they guys wore black tuxes with green vests (her other color).  It looked great!

    I think that it would look ok!  If you are looking for other options, I just recently went to a wedding where the BMs had chocolate colored dresses with pink sashes and the guys wore chocolate colored tuxes.  They looked really nice in them!

    Our wedding was just a couple of weeks ago - my girls had 'truffle' dresses from David's Bridal (basically chocolate brown).  I had the same concern you did - but we moved ahead with black tuxes and chocolate brown vests...and it looked great!  Men's Wearhouse partners with David's so that had the same 'truffle' for the vests.  There are a few pics of the groomsmen in our 'teaser' pics from our photographer.  To take a look visit www.innovatoryphotography.com, click on 'login' and click on "Mary + David/married".  Password is 10022010.

    I actually found a really cute dress from david's (super cheap too) so this will help out tremendously.
