vintage/antique style venue suggestions?

We are newly engaged and are scouting out venues in the Bay Area while currently living in LA. I love the idea of a beautiful library or a place with lots of wood and windows but we are looking to have at least 100 guests which limits us.

Any recommendations on a vintage/antique style venue that could hold our party? Thank you in advance!

  • I visited the Rengstorff House at Shorline Park, Mountain View, with a friend looking for a vintage-style venue. It's a historic Victorian home and quite nice.  Found some pictures of the venue here: http://ashleymaxwellphoto.com/blog/kelsey-dan-the-reception/
  • Thank you! These pics are adorable. I'm a bit worried the Rengstorff House won't hold us all inside in December but it is an adorable location. Maybe for engagement photos!
  • Hi!  We have booked our ceremony & reception at Scott's Garden in Walnut Creek!  It's kind of a rustic feeling, and I'm very into the vintage feel, so maybe check them out & see what you think?  They have patio heaters (for cocktail hour) and it's heated in the "garden".  It's like a green house with lots of brick work & twinkle lights, so pretty!  Best of luck with your search!
  • Hey! I am a huge fan of Murrietas Well in Livermore and the Flood Mansion in San Francisco. Let me know if I can help you with anymore ideas!
