Anyone have an affordable, quality seamstress in the la area? I'm afraid the bridal salon will charge me a fortune and I don't have a seamstress.

    I used Yelp to find someone in LA near my office. Unfortunately I haven't been there yet, or else I'd let you know how it was! They quoted me about $200 to shorten the train and take in the bust.

    This board is so dead...but many of us used Renee  <-- linky (pronounded Re-knee) 
    of In Stitches. She's wonderful and very reasonable. She's in Woodland Hills, and I was in West LA when I got married and it was worth the drive, plus she's flexible and easy to work with.
