I'm looking for help on how to end our wedding invitations.
We will be having a cocktail reception. The ceremony is at 5:30pm with the reception immediately following. We will have passed hors d'oeuvres and a few food stations (cheese & crackers, beef, vegetables, chicken stir-fry), but no formal, seated, plated meal.
At the end of the invitation, often written is "Dinner & Reception to Follw". We don't want to say dinner because we don't want to imply that we're having a traditional, seated meal. But we don't want to say "hors d'oeuvres and reception to follow" because there will be a lot more food than just appetizers.
Any suggestions on how to imply that we will have food, but not a traditional sit down meal?
Thank you very much!
