Budget Venue ideas

Hello all!  My fiance and I are looking for a venue anywhere between Sandusky to Cleveland (just not the east side) that can accomodate approx 150 people for at or around $30/per plate (it can go a little over but needs to be close).  We also will be having our wedding in February (2014), so I'm hoping we can get some off season discounts.  So far I think I'll be looking into Springvale in North Olmstead, not sure what their prices are but I have heard affordable.  I know that $30/plate will be tough but I'm hoping it is possible...

    </div><div>They don't provide their own catering there, so you can go with an outside vendor which is always cheaper. We are going with Sterk's catering and having two seperate buffets with china/linen, and thats about $17 per person.</div><div>

    Michauds is $28 with tax/tip I believe and you'd bring in your own booze so that could be a savings...  Good luck!

     Have you tried sterks yet? I wanted to have them do our catering but its just so unbelievably cheap that i hope the food isnt bad
