TEEP- Thanks. Yes, I made tissue paper flowers and twisted the stems of about 6 or 7 together. It's not perfectly round, just a little over half circle.

We went to the linen place for an hour and a half on Saturday and I still haven't decided on a linen yet. Luckily, they were super nice and let me take 3 of the ones that I was considering so I can take them to our venue and look at them there. I also took a chair cushion and our venue coordinator has a mahagony chivari that we're using, so we can get a feel for them at our actual venue with the correct lighting.

We're choosing between a white, champagne (which looks more ivory) and a peach.

This is why I originally pulled the peach:

I just think the peach linen we have the option of is a little lighter than this. I liked the white, but mom and Brandon both thought it was a little too bright. Meh. I'll keep y'all updated.

We're going to meet with our minister today to talk about the ceremony order and maybe do a counseling session. I'm so excited!!

Lanie, that box is gorgeous. It's so sparkly.

I wasn't on here this weekend, so I'll say that we picked out the tuxes on Saturday and my shower invitations were delivered and people are already purchasing things off our registries. I'm so excited!

FI's vest and tie will be pure white. The GM will be horizon blue from DB and the dads will be black.

The best part of that is that FI's entire outfit is free.

Some time last week I also picked up a wicker basket and a cute little heart on a stick (with chalkboard inside the wooden border of the heart) for the card box. I'm going to decorate it with sunflowers and ribbon. I'll AW when I finish.

Yesterday we finally figured out the tasting menu. I emailed our DOC with our choices, and am waiting to hear back from her. That was seriously the most stressful part of planning so far, and I'm so glad it's done with. I'm also making good progress on addressing invites. It's taking a lot less time than I thought it would, so we might send them out the 16th or so, whenever I'm done with them. No use hanging onto them when they're done, especially since people have been asking when the invites are being sent out. My sister/MOH got her shoes yesterday, so all my bridesmaid's have their shoes. Now just to wait for the dresses!

FI and I called the jewelry store where we found my wedding band and put my ring on hold. He is going back this week, hopefully tonight to get the ring! I can't wait to share it with yall, I love it.

Got my invitation in the mail for my shower back home for early April.

We finally got our invitation pieces ordered. I think I'll start printing everything this week. The last few addresses are coming together. I'm quickly realizing I don't have as much time as I thought I did...we're still in good shape, though

Congrats on all the checks ladies!!

I had a very good Mommy-Carter weekend. Didnt even talk about the wedding once. It was refreshing. Carter didnt want to go back to the normal weekday routine today.... I guess he had fun too!

Lot's this weekend!!

I ordered my veil (don't have a pic... boo)

My FG ordered her dress:

Her sash will be fuschia. She LOVED it and almost cried when she had to take it off. I may be partial, but I think she is the cutest little girl ever!!

My mom also got her dress for the wedding! I thought this would NEVER happen because she is the pickiest person EVER and is such a pain... but she found it!

Fi and I also registered at Home Depot!! Our registeries are done finally! Yay!

ETA: I also made my first fitting appointment for March 31!

-Completely changed our ceremony programs and decided we're just going to order them instead of printing them at home.

-Scheduled my first fitting for March 15!

-Found a dress to wear for the rehearsal.

-Picked up a few things for the BMs "emergency" kits

-BMs picked up their dresses and bought their shoes. I've seen pictures of two of them in the dresses and they are just beautiful

I was planning to order the brooch for MOH's dress, but I completely forgot. Hopefully I remember this week. I want to get it in time so that when I go to NJ at the end of the month, I can see how it looks and make sure we both like it.

We went to visit a friend of mine that lives about an hour away... her and Carter are BFFs too :) And we brough my friends neice with us who is Carters friend at daycare. It was so much fun!! Then yesterday we went to FI's grandmas birthday party and played games and hung out. We also worked on the new house a little bit. It was just a lot of laid back fun. Loved it!!

Oh, and I forgot about this NWR check! We'll find out for sure later today, but we signed for a new apartment Friday. The lady there said it should be approved. The thing I'm most excited about? My shower is 2 days after we'll be able to start moving in so all of the gifts can just go straight there.

I now have 75 of 100 programs done. On my phone so can't PIP but ill edit later. They are in the fb page in the programs album though. Today I'm calling our priest so we can meet over break next week and confirming the time for my final fitting next Monday!
