6let funny

6let and M2 spent 5 nights with the ILs.  My only rules were the kids use sunscreen and carseats.  I told them we usually put them to bed at 8, but whatever they want.  On the second night they were out late.  FIL tried to tell 6let that it was 7:30 so he wouldn't get in trouble.  6let looked at the digital clock and informed him it was actually 9:24.

Re: 6let funny

  • Heee!  Nothing gets by that kid.  :)
  • I love 6let.

Five nights is a long time.  Are ILs exhausted?

Luckily they had a lot of help over that time.  We were with them 2 days and there were tons of aunts, uncles, and cousins too.  We're all having a little reset day.  M2 has been so pumped full of lemonade and something else she's got green poo.

yay for babysitting.  And also for telling time :)
  • DefConn had the green poos after Memorial Day weekend, when there was a lot of party and not a lot of supervision over what he was eating.

Glad they had fun and everyone got to enjoy them.  :)

I don't really care about the food.  I just ask that they wait until 1.

And now MIL is pissed FIL got them for 5 days.  I even made time to visit her and her parents when I dropped them off.  I can't win.

  • Your MIL can shove it.  And there's no 'winning' with her because her job is to btch and she does it well.

I don't care about food either.  I just know green poos = not eating normal stuff.  As long as he's not hurting, we're all good.
  • Ha! That happens when I bring DS to my parent's house. They spoil him and then try to be casual about it.

Your MIL just needs to DIAF.

Most likely, they just ate something that had blue food coloring in it.  Blue snow cone, blue cotton candy, etc.  I know this from personal experience.

Blueberries make things "colorful" for me.

On that front, don't drink 1/2 a 6 pack of diet grape faygo just to be hydrated enough to donate blood.

I swear, some poor patient has blue-greeny blood from that day.
  • Beets and Berry Veggie Naked juice do "different colors" on me too. I gotta remember this when I diet and drink Berry Veggie 1-2 times per day, otherwise I freak out that I'm dying when I go to the bathroom.
