Christian ceremony readings

I am Catholic, my FB was not brought up with religion , We are having a former priest, now a JP perform our wedding ceremony. I am looking for some Christian readings. Any ideas will be appreciated.

To add to Stage's comment; your FI doesn't have to convert in order for you to have a Catholic wedding. I would talk to the priest

We had 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (read by our mothers in English and Spanish), 1 John 4:7-8 (read by FIL in Nepali), and Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (read by my dad in Hausa). These are such familiar passages that it was neat hearing them in different languages!
