Seeking Budget Photographer for Verona, NY wedding

I'm getting married at Turning Stone in Verona, NY. I'm looking for a photographer who can work with my budget, which is 1000-2000. I thought this was a reasonable budget, but the quotes I have gotten back so far are 2800+

Can anyone recommend a high quality photographer in the central NY area who will work within our budget?

I hate to say this but if you are looking for a great photographer you will likely need to spend $2500 or more. It is a sad fact but photography is the one thing that is going to stick. I was a MOH honor for several weddings and watch as all of them were disappointed with their photos. I vowed not to make the same mistake and I am paying $4000 overall for just the services with no albums. Not making that mistake.
