Sand ceremony involving our daughter- what's a good song?

I've figured out all of our ceremony music, but I cannot find a good song for our sand ceremony. All of the ones I find are just about the couple or talk about one person excepting the other's children as their own but in our situation it is our own daughter. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great! I'm so lost!

  • I would do a song that talks about generic love. What type of music style are you going for? That will narrow it down a bit.

We've played these for parent/child sand ceremonies recently:

    The Prayer (Dion/Bochelli)
Just the Way You Are (Bruno Mars)
Our Love is Here To Stay (Gershwin)
What a Wonderful World (Louis Armstrong)
Bless the Broken Road (Rascal Flatts) *My Wish* is also very appropriate!
I Will Be Here (Steven Curtis Chapman)

One Direction currently has a 'love' song called What Makes You Beautiful, and I think Martina McBride has a song called In My Daughter's Eyes and Tim McGraw sings My Little Girl.

  • Thank you for your answers! We are pretty open to all music, our other song are-

Bridal Party Entrance- Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caliet

Bride Entrance- Mama's Song by Carrie Underwood (my mom is walking me)

After our kiss- This Will Be An Everlasting Love by Natalie Cole

  • We are doing a sand ceremony incorporating our 1 year old daughter. The song we are using is "I Want To Hold Your Hand" -- but the version done by Glee. Yes, I know it's a little cheesy, but the arrangement is beautiful.
