Alterations recommendations (for bridesmaids dresses)

Hi All,

I am trying to find a good and affordable seamstress for my girls' bridesmaids dresses. The store we bought them from gave us a great deal, but the seamstresses they work with are kind of far away. Most of the dresses just need a hem, or to be taken in slightly, nothing too crazy. We are looking for someone in the greater New Haven or Fairfield county area. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    I heard good things about Maria's in Fairfield. I'm planning on bringing my maid of honor dress for my sister's wedding there.

    I loved my seamstress!  Alterations by Michelle --(203) 483-9221.  She works out of her house in Branford.

    OMG!  I had my wedding dress altered at Valentino Tailors in Hamden.  They were AMAZING.  I am sure they would do an excellent job with whatever you bring them.  Their prices were not the cheapest but also not the most expensive, sort of in the middle of quotes I got.  But their work was absolutely perfect.
