Noon Wedding!

in Nevada-Las Vegas
Im booking a noon wedding in March 2014 at the Flamingo.  Has anyone done an early wedding.  What are your thoughts?  We are just going to do a lunch afterwards and thats it.  Unless anyone has any other fun ideas!

    I just got married on Saturday at an 11:30 am ceremony. It worked our great for us! We had a lunch afterwards. Then, we planned an after party that almost all of our guests also attended.

    My brother is getting married at 10:30 am (although he is getting married in Banff, AB). After lunch, they are having an afternoon of bocce ball and croquet on a grassy spot overlooking the mountains. Maybe you could do something that show cases Las Vegas? Check out Double Decker Bus Tours for an afternoon tour. You could spend the afternoon having a pool party or some sort of casual group activity?

    We are getting married at 12:30, with lunch at 3 at Hussong's and then a DDB tour of the strip.

    We paid for the first drink for everyone. Then they were on their own, which worked our fine. We had a full open bar at the reception, so everyone was feeling nice. Most didn't even want us to buy them a drink since they wanted to buy us drinks, but we insisted.

    We are getting married at 1pm, doing the DDB, and then providing dinner.  I say make the  most out of your day - while still considering your budget.

    We got married at 11am. Reception was 12:15pm-3:15pm. We did not offer open bar because we knew our guests would only have one or two drinks each (which they did). We felt a daytime ceremony was perfect cus everyone got to do whatever they wanted after the reception; gamble, nap, etc and then we met up about 930 to party the night away.

    Sarjhawk-Out reception was at Trevi. It was fantastic! We had 35 guests.

    Mon Ami Gabi has a really awesome brunch menu for wedding parties, and the interior is gorgeous.
