Looking for small outdoor mountain venue

My fiance and I live in south Florida, and we've been here our whole lives, so we have never really experienced the "season change" in the Fall.  We have decided to have our wedding outdoors next Fall somewhere in the mountains, and are looking for the perfect venue. Our wedding will be less than 100 (probably more like 70 or 80), and we are having a very hard time finding nice, small venues on the internet, so I thought I would post in some local communities to see if anyone knows any good local secrets. We are open to anywhere from Georgia to Ohio, and anywhere east of that (New England, Atlantic Coast). Please share if you have any ideas! Thank you!

  • Chota Falls in Clayton, Ga (about 2 hrs. north of Atlanta) is spectacular!!  Our daughter was married there in June.  The ceremony was in front of a waterfall surrounded with stone landscaping.  Two story lodge for reception, gorgeous villas to stay on property. And chapel if weather not good.  They have it all!!  Check out web site at www.chotafalls.com  It is even more gorgeous than the pictures.  Good luck
  • My cousin got married at Kellum Valley Farm
Its in north ga its so pretty!
  • The Farm in Rome, Ga. http://www.thefarmromega.com/ I am getting married there in November of this year. I have had a great experience and love the owners. Dixie is the owner and she will let you do everything OR she will do everything for you. Its a great price too! You also get to use it for the whole weekend (Firday-Sunday). They also have the cutest little cottages that you and your guest can stay in.
  • I have no idea what they charge, but this place is really pretty.
