I am having the hardest time picking music.  My ceremony and reception are at Rosy's and I want live music for the first half. Maybe two hours, have them second line out, then dj for the last two hours.  Has anyone done something like that, did it work out, and who did you use?

    I kind of did the opposite of the above.  We had string quartet for the ceremony (Harry Hardin - great to work with and can play anything), DJ (John @ Jack Magic Entertainment) for the first 2 hours of the reception to include first dance, intro speeches, etc. and then had a Brass Band (Coolbone - amazing and can't recommend enough if you are going the brass band route w/a singer) for the last 2 hours of the reception and 2nd line around the venue and to the buses/transportation.  It all worked out great for us!  

    You can definitely make it work doing the combo of DJ/Band :)
