Thank you for engagement card??

A few people have sent us "Congratulations on your engagement" cards and I'm not sure if you are supposed to write thank-yous for that??

    only if there is a check inside - I felt the same way bc I was so touched that people sent us cards, but trust me, you will have enough thank yous to write down teh road. if you see those people, just let them know that the card meant a lot.

    We got a couple of congratulations cards for our engagements. One of them had a restaurant gift card inside. I sent a thank you card for that one and the others I called the people and let them know I got the card and thanked them for thinking of us.

    It is a nice thought but it's not necessary. I only got one card without a gift so I sent a thank you card because one more wasn't going to hurt.

    Would you send a thank you card to someone who sent you a birthday card?  Same thing applies here.

    I sent thank yous for gifts and made phone calls to those who gave cards. Not required but I wanted them to know we got the card and appreciated the well wishes.
