"Mother/Daughter Dance"

My dad passed away two years ago and my fiance is doing a mother/son dance...am I crazy to want to do a dance with my mom? 
Idk...I know it isn't exactly popular.  Curious what other knotties think.

    I think it is perfectly fine.  In fact, I might do this myself.

    I've seen this at weddings where the bride dances with each parent separately. I'll be highlighting the dance with my dad at mine, but I'm thinking of having the DJ play a certain song during the wedding that I"ll just go up to my mom and ask her to dance with me. :-)
