name in the vows?

My FI's first name is Alexander, he sometimes goes by Alex but most people know him as Sasha. I am not sure what's better but leaning towards his full name. Any ideas?

    I would say that since Sasha is technically a nickname for Alexander to go for his full name for the ceremony. There are few times in our lives where we have the opportunity to have our name announced to a crowd and I think the formality of the occasion would call for the use of the full name.

    I agree with using the full name.  I'm in the same boat as you and that is what we are doing.

    FI's name is Veereak (It is Thai) but everyone calls him Jeff. In the program we are printing Veereak. It is going to be a lot of fun explaining his name to my side of the family.
