I posted this on the budget bride board but this is also an appropriate board for my questions...
So I am thinking of ordering online invitations from a website called "The American Wedding" (
www.theamericanwedding.com). I ordered a few samples (you can get up to 5 for free) and they seem really nice! I can get 100 wh envelopes & tissue paper for $88 (RSVP cards and other stuff is ordered separate). High quality paper, raised font, etc. I want to know if you or anyone you know has gotten invitations from here or jsut online in general? If so, how did it work out?
There are only a few problems.
1) They don't do programs at all. So I will have to find another website to do programs...Any suggestions?
2) The direction cards only hold a max of 5 lines and our guest are pretty far away (5 hrs driving) so the directions will be more than 5 lines long. Would it be super tacky to do the direction cards on regular printer paper and just stick them in there? I have received an invite from another girl like this and I didn't find it cheap looking.
