Moving Announcements?

FI and I are moving in 2 weeks into our first house. My bridal shower is this weekend. Is it rude/tacky/whatever to hand out post card size announcements like these?

    I'm not sure I understand the point. You're moving in 2 weeks but your shower is this weekend, so shouldn't it be at your hosue now? Why would people need to know the new address?

    I didn't think people gave out announcements for moving.

    Just put them in with the thank you notes you will be sending after the shower.

    If you choose to send out anouncements that you're moving that would be an ok way to do it.

    Did you register? This is really random, and not the question, but make sure you change your address on your registry. Some people just mail gifts straight off your registry to your home.
    (If you didn't register, or already thought of it, disregard :)
