Hi! I'm new on this site so let me first start by saying hello everyone and congratulations to everyone! I am getting married May 2014 and I have no idea what all areas/venues make for pretty reception sites. I live in mt airy, my fiance in greensboro. I kinda want to get married at my church in mt airy but we don't have a suitable reception hall. I am also open to getting married elsewhwere as long as it has a church/chapel. I would greatly appreciate any starting points...I have never even helped in any process of a wedding and I need all the help I can get!

You could always have your reception at a different location. That's what I did and it was normal. I had a cousin that had a reception as far as 30 minutes away. I would recommend a little closer, but its doable if the church has meaning to you.

I'm in pinnacle, getting married in April. I found Rosa Lee Monor, its in Pilot Mt not far from Mt Airy absolutely beautiful unfortunately they booked a wedding between my wedding planner calling & I called

Rosa Lee even has it that you can stay over the night of your wedding, I fell in love with it & price was great too. Luckily I did find another beautiful site The Longhouse its in Stokesdale closer to Greensboro. There were also some nice vineyards. I don't know what size or style but those were ones I liked for my small rustic vintage wedding.. Good luck
