Need cake vendors!!!

Hi Ladies,

I know this question has been asked several times but the search is not working for me. Can you recommend a cake vendor? Anita Kline is full :( I really don't want to pay over $2-$3 per slice.

    Enticing Icings (clicky) has a good price.  She was our second choice behind Bella Luna.  CIndy was great and so was the cake.  She also provides more than enough during her tastings!

    I wanted to use Bella Luna, but she was just too expensive and out of our price range. The tastings were really yummy though.

    If I hadn't gone with Anita Kline, my second choice was Short North Piece of Cake. Their cake was delicious and (if I remember correctly) you can save money by getting a smaller cake and supplementing with sheet cake, which is less expensive per piece.

    Suisse Shop on Polaris Pkwy! Most delicious cake I have ever had. They can probably work with your budget depending on what you are looking for.

    We're using Short North Piece of Cake. No upcharges on fillings/different flavors per tier. What makes it cost more is how ornate your cake design is. Brian Hotopp is amazing to deal with and the cake is fabulous.

    TTC since October 2011.
    DX with Non-IR PCOS in October 2012.
    Missing RIGHT tube due to a prior surgery to remove cyst-zilla (40 lbs!) at age 12.
    HSG showed tube was blocked - cleared by dye. DON'T DO CLOMID WITHOUT AN HSG!
    Cycle #8 with 50mg Clomid & TI = BFN
    Cycle #9 with 50mg Clomid & TI = No response.
    Cycle #10 with Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel shot = ???
    CD12 ultrasound showed no follicles above 10mm.
    CD16 ultrasound showed no follicles above 10mm (WTF)
    Clomid 200mg CD 16-22, repeat u/s on 3/11

    I am not sure if it was Amanda but we did stop by Bakery Gingham in Short North.  We were not impressed.  They gave us 2 cupcakes to try; vanilla and chocolate.  Not much of a variety there!

    I thought so too!  :)  They were 50 cents to a dollar more than our second choice but FI insisted based on a particular flavor she had.

    We are not paying more than $2.50 a slice and most of our cake is $2.00 a slice. Although I think she may have raised her price since we booked her to $2.25 a slice.  She is really nice and her cakes were very good.

    I have to second enticing icings! she's doing our wedding cake in november but also did a cake for our engagement party a few months ago and everyone raved!!! idk how she does it but her cake is literally the best i've ever had!!

    plus: her pricing is amazing ;)

    We went with Cakes by Cecile. She was cheaper than anyone else we had looked at (3.65 per guest) and her white chocolate cake was the best cake I've ever had (and I am a total cake snob). I don't even like chocolate and I loved her cake. When we met with her, she was very flexible and even does a kitchen sheet cake for super cheap that is the same height of the regular cake so no one will ever know that they got a slice of the kitchen cake instead of the main cake. She got excellent reviews online as well.

    We used tg patty cakes she has a varitey of cakes and she is able to do alot of idfferent types of decorating.
