Chicago-area photography advise?

Hey Ladies - 

I am in the middle of figuring out what to do for photography for my wedding coming up in June of 2014. My fiance and I are on a budget and were are looking to stay under the $2,500 mark. Any advise on photographers that would be worth checking into would be much appreciated! And, any thoughts on going with an independent photograph vs. a company (which seems to be the more reasonable route) would also be great

    http://matushekphotography.com/ My son and his wife hired Jessica and Peter for their 2012 wedding. They are an amazing couple and do phenomenal work. They were just starting out when my son "discovered" them, and their rates were more reasonable. I'm fairly certain they would fit your budget and I would highly recommend them.

    Kristi at Markit Photography. She is new and up-and-coming, does great work with reasonable rates: http://markitphotography.com/ (especially for 2 shooters)  She's had a few things featured on Style Me Pretty Illinois that are really well done if you want to have better look at that.. 

    I'd stay away from George Street Photography. Completely hit or miss and who wants to take that chance?

    LuvEd Photography-Erika is independent and right in your price range. She is so sweet, easy to work with and takes beautiful pictures with great direction! Highly recommend!

    We used Natasha NLM Photography for our engagement pictures and she did a wonderful job and her wedding rates are super duper reasonable.
