Finding an Inexpensive Reception Venue

I am thinking about holding my 30-40 guest wedding in Florida (preferably west coast) and am ready to pull my hair out because I have not found a venue! My theme is nautical and I would LOVE to be right on the beach. I'm hoping to pay no more than $4-$5 k total for the reception. Any ideas about how to start my destination wedding destination search?

I looked for all-inclusive deals and found Liz Smith. She is AWESOME! I gave her my budget (which was around 9k) and she catered a wedding&reception for 50 guests that was within my budget (which I think came to about 5k…depending on what vendors you want and time of year, etc). I was able to take things out and customize it to my liking - and if you have a theme, she will be more than happy to help you with it. I absolutely loved working with her and she has a lot of great vendors that she uses in her package deals. She's also very good at communication - my family and I can't say enough amazing things about her. I live in Texas and do not have a creative bone in my body so I needed someone to be able to take my wedding and make it fabulous. She did not disappoint.
    Seriously, check her out.

I am getting married at the Sandbar Restaurant on Anna Maria Island.  Their pricing should fit your budget.
