Veil trouble..

Okay. My Wedding is Dec. 1, 2014 and it's themed with black silver and white.

My dress is mostly black and I know a lot of people are on the fence about it but I love my dress. My problem is, I can't quite figure out my veil. I really want to wear one but can't seem to find one.. So here's a picture of my dress, maybe suggest one or something similar ?

Are you 100% decided on the veil? I think a statement hairpiece would look better with that dress (which is beautiful, by the way).

However, are you set on a traditional type of veil? Perhaps a birdcage or fascinator would go better with the dress.

If you do an online image search you will find a lot of black or untraditional veils, mostly created for the gothic wedding demographic.

There are also some white ones that have black lace around the edges. Something like that may look good with your dress. It would kind of be like a reverse of your dress. I was thinking about this, I've seen an almost halo flower type piece..

However, I haven't come across any I've thought quite right.. I don't think the flowers go right with my dress.. I see more sparkle. The birdcage is really a cute idea.. Do you think a black birdcage would be too much black.. My hair is really dark brown as well so, I was pondering what color veil to wear all together? Ugh. Who thought the veil would give me trouble.. I knew everything was coming together to easily.

I understand your pain. Once I decided on a hot pink dress, I realized that made a veil really tricky. I second the birdcage idea. I think a white or silver one would look pretty with the dress. Black might be a bit funereal if you're not going for the gothic look. A flower crown doesn't fit the style of the dress, but if you love it, go for it regardless.
