Parts/ order of ceremony? Friend as officiant

I found this on the Knot... "A typical ceremony often includes a processional, welcome, declaration of intent, readings, vows, ring exchange, pronouncement, and recessional"

What is a processional and what is a recessional? We are not religious and our friend is the officiant (she got ordained already for a separate wedding)
Why would you do declaration of intent (I do's) BEFORE vows- that seems backwards to me?
Where can we get some standard scripts to use?

Processional is when everyone in the WP comes into the venue for the ceremony (the part with "Here Comes the Bride" or whatever song you choose). The Recessional is when everyone in the WP leaves the venue after the ceremony is complete.

You can find scripts by Googling "wedding ceremony script". You can further refine the results by what things you want to include in the ceremony.
