hotel venue?

Hi! Looking for ideas for a hotel venue (or very close by) for our wedding in philadelphia or surrounding areas. Half the guests are coming from out of state so were hoping to make the stay easier. We are planning on 75 guests total for the wedding and are trying to keep the reception venue under $6k for our budget.. thank you

    Have you tried the Four Points by Sheraton in Northeast Philadelphia? It's at Grant and the Blvd. I know they will work with you on pricing and even customize a package to fit your needs and budget?

    With your budget, that will be very difficult. Are you willing to do your wedding on a Sunday morning/afternoon?

    There is a venue in Montgomery County called Mermaid Lake that would work with your budget.  It's actually a camp and party venue, but they have turned a barn into a really pretty rustic wedding ballroom.  It definitely would work for 75 people.  You do have to BYOB but that only helps you save more money. They have a lot to choose from with their different menus.  There are several hotels within 5 miles of Mermaid Lake because of the large businesses nearby.  You'd probably get some great deals from them too. www.mermaidlake.com
