Hi ladies,

Quick question for advice. In the program I am only listing the processional (parents, bridal party and officiant) and adding a "We lovingly remember" at the bottom for our deceased grandparents. My FI is blessed to still have his grandpa and we are having him escorted down the isle, as part of the processional, by a cousin. I don't know how to write it on the program without it being too wordy. It's listed as such:

Parents of the bride
name
name

Parents of the groom
name
name

Grandfather of the groom
escorted by cousin name
grandfathers name

What do you think? Any other recommendations? I'm not feeling it :-/

    Grandfather of the Groom
    grandfather's name, 
    escorted by cousin's name

    That lets grandfather be featured, but still recognizes that the cousin is escorting him.

    image 95 will be celebrating with us.
    image 13 will be there in spirit...
    (including the uninvited cousins who
    RSVP-ed and then cancelled after 
    realizing that it wasn't a great time
    to travel to our city....) 
    image 0 are keeping us guessing!

    @soontobemrsbuccheri -- totally.  It's a very long story, and in the end, I was fine with them coming and actually, in fact, looking forward to it.  Then they cancelled right after I gave my caterer the final count.  And because of that, we're paying full price for the kids at the wedding to avoid paying the penalty for being under our minimum.

    So.  Awesome.  ;)

    Sounds just. Grand.  I am thankful that we didn't have that type of issue.  The only issue we had was my Aunt decided last minute that she was including my 'special needs' cousin on her RSVP card.  I heard through my Mom that she was planning to bring him, when my Aunt told me MONTHS prior to sending the invites out that I didn't need to invite Thomas as he didn't go to my brother's wedding, etc and it would only be 'fair' that she treated my wedding the same.  Being that I found out through the grapevine, I called her and asked her about it.  She said that she promises he won't be a handful (he is a handful - at 21 he acts like a 3 year old) and won't get in the way and that if he does she will send him up to the hotel room. That was the only "issue" we had Guest List wise.  It works out ok though because he fits right in and there is no worry about going over.  :)
