Small Barn Wedding in Northern WI

Looking for something around St. Germain (where FH is from) but considering anywhere in WI (away from the big cities)

My family is driving all the way from Western NY, so it will be a small wedding. 50-75 guests at most.

I really want a small rustic barn (so many available for rent are HUGE) that isn't more than $1500 to rent, where we can bring our own alcohol and caterers and have a bonfire outside.

I really like the Brickhouse Getaway. Love the barn, and that the rental includes the use of the whole house as well. Plus, there's a playhouse for the kids as well as llamas and goats! Just a cute place. $1500 for the day.

It is so far west though. I don't want to add a ton of driving time for my guests, and it would be nice if the northern WI guests could get home the same night.

Any suggestions?

  • Hi-I just ran across the Brule River Barn online. It is a couple of hours North of the Brickhouse Getaway so I'm guessing it will be too far of a drive. It is worth looking at the website.
    Good Luck!

  • The Enchanted Barn is way out of our price range. It starts at around $8000! I'm willing to go to $2500 but 8K is just too much.

The Still Farm, Twin Lakes & Brule River all all too far west :(

Another thing I'm unhappy about is that all these places are on totally flat land without many trees around- which totally makes sense for a farm. I wish I could have both a wedding in the woods AND in a barn (or in some similar rustic structure)..
