I love three TOTALLY DIFFERENT dresses equally...help!

There are three dresses I LOVE. I don't know which one to choose!
What do you think looks best?
1.Ruffles Dress
2. Sleek Dress
3. Tulle and Lace Dress

Additional details:
-For reference, I'm 5'10" and a bridal size 2/street 0.
-We are getting married at a historic castle in July (ceremony outside/reception inside castle)
-the ruffles dress comes with a detachable bolero

Thank you so much! I'm the most fickle person on the planet...

  • Well I LOVE tulle and lace, so I'm totally biased.

I just don't personally care too much for the look of the ruffles, it's just too much going on for my taste. The sleek one is a really odd shape up on top (the shoulders/breast area), and I don't think that it's very flattering.
  • For a wedding at a castle I think the ruffles or lac eand tulle would fit your venue best.

I LOVE lace and that dress is gorgeous. But something about it looks heavy for July.

The ruffles is very flowy and light looking. I also think it gives you a better shape. So it has my vote.

You look great in all three so whatever you chose will be beautiful.  I would just focus on which fits the venue and time of year best.

  • I love the tulle and lace one as well. It's a gorgeous dress and it looks amazing on you. The sleek is more the style of dress that I have for myself so I thought I would pick that one, but I agree that the top of the dress and the sleeves are a little weird.

I like the lace and tulle the best, followed by the sleek.  I do not really like the ruffles.
  • I honestly love number 2, sleek lace. It's so flattering on you and the sleeves are so pretty. In July it'll probably be very hot too and you don't want to wear a bunch of heavy tulle and such...even if it's for a short 1/2 ceremony outside...
  • You look great in all three. I'm jealous! It's a tough one, but I think I like #3 the best.
  • I LOVE the first one!!! The other two don't even compare. Definitely captivating.
  • The first/ruffles dress makes you look the curviest and is the most unique, IMO.

This.  They all look great on you but the slim gown looks too much like a nightgown to me and definitely not grand enough for a castle wedding and the third gown has been done, even though very pretty, just typical.

So my vote is dress #1.

  • I love the lace/tulle one at the end. The first one is a second choice, but, the middle one looks like a nightgown. I agree with Maggie on that.
  • I think #3 looks like it has lots of layers of tulle, which I'm nervous will end up really hot and uncomfortable for your legs in the outdoor ceremony & photos (assuming you'll be doing outdoor photos). The first one, same concerns. Not sure how heavy the lace is but it looks like it might the easiest to move around in. But you know from trying them on how heavy each dress is. You look great in all of them and you can't go wrong with whatever you pick. I would just go with whatever one is most comfortable & light in weight too
  • First one. I usually hate ruffles but the ruffles on this are smooth and graceful. I like some things about the second one, like the way it fits you and the buttons down the back, but don't like the dippy neckline and the way the straps look from beind (spaghetti strap-ish) The third is nice but to me it's nothing special.
  • I like the second one I looks great on your body. My second choice would be the third one more romantic.
  • My faves in order would be 3, 1, and then 2. I love the lace and tulle!!!
  • this one was a tuffy, it was torn between 1 and 3, but my fav is tulle and lace
  • #3 or #1.  Personally I like #3 better but I think #1 matches your venue better.

  • the first made me say wow. So, I vote #1.
  • I love the ruffles one! I think the bolero is a nice detail and I think it looks really amazing on you.
  • I love the lace and tulle!! The sleek is my second favorite.

  • It sounds like the community here is a toss up as well so here are some things to consider

-which is going to be the most comfortable dress to be in 90 degree weather for at least an hour or and hour and a half

-which dress do you want to wear all day long

    - which dress fits the venue (a castle sounds very grand but some are actually very quaint so you have to judge by your own venue...btw I'm getting married in a castle :D)

-which dress do you feel the most comfortable and beautiful in? This is important if you don't feel you'll love either of these dresses after you purchase than perhaps you should keep looking.
  • i like the ruffles and the last tulle one the slim one looks like a nghtie or something you would wear to a nice fancy party and wanted to upstage everyone.

the ruffles would go best with the castle
  • I like the third one--it's timeless and elegant.  The second one is a little casual looking for the venue.  The first one just isn't really my thing, it's a little more young bride playing pretty princess.  If you want to look like a princess, though, it could be the fit for the venue.  I just don't see the need for the venue to turn the gown into a costume.

I really don't care for the first one. What I love about the third is the smooth transition from the bodice to the skirt. What bothers me about the first is it's kind of just POOF. Also, I think the bolero is bothering me and hides how pretty your shoulders are (which you can really see in the third dress). However, the problem may be that the sample in the first dress doesn't fit you as well as the other two samples seem to. I love the back of the 2nd dress but I have to agree with PP's that the front of it is nightgownish. The silhouette is very flattering on you though! My taste runs more simple and classic I guess so that's probably why I love the third the most.

  • I like the 3rd dress, lace and tulle. It looks nice on you and I think it would fit your venue.
