I know I'm over-thinking this, but I'm curious what other people did with their rings. I know the best man can hold onto them during the Mass and bring them up when it's time. I've also heard of the two of us wearing one another's rings until it's time to exchange them.
I bought a ring plate with our names and date on it and thought I would have someone hold onto that and bring it up to us when it's time to exchange the rings. It was going to be FI's nephew, but he broke his leg and is now in a cast up to his thigh!
We could choose someone else, but now I'm wondering if we should have anyone bring them up at all and just simplify things in some way.
What have others done?
