Rehearsal dinner

Rehearsal dinner will be small - our pastor and her wife, my future in laws, my brother and DF's sister who are married to each other, their son, our flower girl is coming with them as her parents will be out of town until the day before the wedding, my dad and us.

I'm thinking about just doing chicken pot pies and pumpkin pies for dinner. The kids love those as I make them prpretty often. But is that enough of a dinner to host?

Re: Rehearsal dinner

  • You might want to add a side dish or salad, but other than that, you should be fine.
  • I agree, a salad would be a nice addition. But if you know that everyone attending the RD will enjoy and is able to eat chicken pot pie, then I think it's a fine option. Not the most exciting if you eat them all the time, but if you're looking for simple and inexpensive, it's a good route.
  • We always make salad, that's why I forgot to list it.

The pot pies are always homemade here. October is usually cool and comfort food is loved in our families. Thus, the thinking about just nice, yummy comfort food.
  • And what time should I be there? :)

    Sounds yummy!
