Inexpensive catering for Kihei?

We are planning our Aloha Welcome Party for two nights before our wedding. It will be at Kalama Park under the pavillon and we need a caterer for dinner. It doesn't need to be fancy, but good food and not super pricey. We plan to feed maybe 50-60 people. Any recommendations??? Any suggestions about the party in general are welcome!

I wish we could find a more private location, but we don't know of any other public place. This way we can provide our own alcohol and drinks and save $$! Do you know of any other place?

I've heard ppl recommend Da Kitchen for catered affordable local food. We've eaten at their Kihei location, and it was tasty.

The Aloha Mixed Plate also does catering, I think.

We're using Paul Alkire for our rehearsal dinner--he does your grocery shopping and cooks the food. So, you're only charged for the food at cost and his per hour labour fee. He's preparing chicken, bread, salad, fruit platters and a potato thingy for 50 people for us, btw.

I'm always a fan of that no-good-for-you Panda Express that "caters" apparently. They're pretty close to Kalama park, too.

I second Da Kitchen....love their lau lau and chicken long rice.

Not sure if they cater but Pita Paradise is awesome...it's across the street from the baseball field. I told them they need to expand because their lamb is so good.

Ooh we at at Aloha Mixed Plate and loved it there! Even if you don't get your catered food there, try to pop in - it has a really fun ambiance, and yummy local food.
