How is/was your Saturday?

Sadly there isn't much in the way of pictures out there that I can find via google... I have no idea why. But I will say, the photographs we were shown of the gazebo and the garden where our ceremony will take place were lovely... I'm sure it will look great - just sucks that our first live impression of it was grey skies, brown grass, and empty tree branches. haha.

This is looking from the doors of where the reception will be out towards the fountain... the gazebo for the ceremony is out of the frame to the right.

ETA: okay, I'm a fairly new knottie... how the heck do you make pictures show up in posts? Is there a way to do it without saving to the computer?

That garden looks really pretty!

I usually just drag the photo to my desktop, post it, and then delete it right away from the desktop. Kind of a pain, but pretty quick.

And Fishy I think this is the first time I've seen some of your wedding pics. (I probably could have FB stalked them, but didn't) I love them!

I don't know why, but I'm always jealous of the knotties that get to meet fishy. She just seems like the best person to be around. Like if I'm having a crappy day, she could cheer me up in an instant.

Thanks... It really is lovely at the end of the summer (our wedding is August 3). I think, more than anything, I'm just second guessing the decision to have an outdoor ceremony since it's not really what I wanted... but we didn't want a church wedding and indoor venues proved nearly impossible to come by that could host both the ceremony and reception without having a ridiculous per-person price or a ridiculous minimum of people (we don't want a 250+ person wedding). And like I said, the photos of weddings on the grounds when the gardens are in full bloom really were lovely, so I just need to stop overthinking things. haha

I've been to Chicago area many times. My mom's old college friend lives there and we visit their family a lot in a suburb outside of Chicago. And J's cousin goes to school there so we've visited him a few times too.

If a knottie ever visits DC I can guarantee there will be at least 10 people wanting to GTG with them while in town. There are so many people from the area it's crazy.
