Rustic Elegance...
So I picked the "apple" red color for my wedding becuase I like red, it goes with the season, etc. I thought I was going to do fall theme with oranges and browns but realized I don't really like fall enough to make it my wedding theme so i decided I wanted Apple Red & Silver (Bling!). I am having my wedding on the lake at a more laid back venue and having more laid back BBQ food.
Trying to blend my rustic lake wedding and my red/silver is much harder then I thought.
I have decided not to play up the silver so much. I'm a rustic bride and my venue doesn't look good when people try to dress it up. I saw my linens place do a wedding there last weekend and the colors were white and hot pink. talk about an eyesore! They even had chair covers! It looked so bad, honestly.
