black diamond wedding band?

I don't wear an engagement ring, so I'm looking for a wedding band with a little personality. I really like this ring. I love the "criss-cross" of the bands. However, I'm not sure about having color involved. I would really love to find this ring with black diamonds instead of the sapphires. Anyone seen anything like that?

Jared.com has some "chocolate" diamonds. Not sure if you are dark enough for you, they are more brown then black. I noticed a lot of stores, zales ect have black diamonds now. I think even Kohls does!

Have it made. Personally I would never buy jewelry from a mall store as they hike up their prices and often have inferior quality jewelry. Go to a independent jeweler and see what they can do for you.

Definitely go custom. I had my wedding ring designed by Robbins Bros. (not fully independent, but a local chain with a good reputation). We were considering incorporating alexandrite into my ring since it's my birthstone, and even though I've never seen it in jewelry outside of a couple of estate sales, they said it was no problem. I'm sure a similar jewelr would be able to make something with black diamonds.

Good, we are going custom, not only with the designs, but using gold and daimonds from FI's family...old wedding rings from generations melted down to make exactly what we want. I just saw the rough cuts tonight and they are Beautiful!
