  • the small semi private room @ mon ami gabi
  • I booked a private room at maggiano's for a lunch reception because the dinner minimums were too high for us.
We're also doing a non-private meetup at Kahunaville for $25 per person.
  • I'm having my reception at Wolfgang Puck Pizzeria & Cucina in Crystals, in their private room. They're reasonably priced. Also, check out Carmine's and Trevi's. Trevi's gets good reviews around here and their prices are great. Carmine's also is a good price and lots of bang for your buck. I would've done Carmine's but I needed to be closer to Aria.

  • Whatever you choose, don't forget 18% gratuity and 9% tax on top of your per person budget.  +27% is not an insignificant figure.
  • @rosebubbly - I visited Carmine's and Joe's and holy hell I didn't realize how far it was from Aria! Both are great though!

  • We love going to the Carmine's near us and just getting the hot antipasto platter. It is huge!

  • We had our reception at Julian Serrano. It was great! We had 20 guests, many of whom are extremely picky eaters, and everyone liked the food. The restaurant made the whole planning process super easy too.

I've been thinking about emailing them, do they only offer tapas or do they do full plates?  My fiancé is a super hungry guy and I'd never dare take him to a small plated place!!  Bahaha!!  That was my only hesitation into emailing this place.  Thanks!
  • TBH I can't remember if they offer full plates as well. We had six courses (small plates) in total plus dessert. The courses were two vegetarian dishes, two meat/chicken dishes, and two seafood dishes. For an extra charge you can order paella for everyone as well.

Our guests all said they had enough to eat. My fiance and his groomsmen all have big appetites, but only you know your fiance's appetite ;) If you do a google image search for the dishes on their menu, you will get a good idea of how big they are :)
  • @kellamity -  do you know if Julian Serrano has a private room?    Or where did they seat your group of 20?   I'm still struggling to decide on a restaurant location too!  Thanks!

Oh yes, I can only hear his eye roll now.  Small no small plates!  Darn it that place looked really rpetty and their reviews looks nice!  Thanks so much, I appreciate the insight!
  • With your groups of 20 what did you do after the dinner? I'm really stuck?????? Helpppppppp please
  • By the time we were done dinner, it was around 11 PM which meant that both sets of parents went to bed pretty much right after. A few of our guests had young kids so they left shortly after dinner as well. The rest of us just had fun gambling in the casinos until about 4 AM.

I haven't posted my reviews yet, but we just had our lunch reception at Fleming's Steakhouse at the Las Vegas Town Square on June 14.  Our ceremony was at the Wynn, so it was about a 10-15 minute drive over there (it is on LV Boulevard).  We were very happy with the location- the food was great, and the prices were very reasonable for a reception.  We had a private room, and we were able to bring in our own cake/flowers, etc., and there was enough room for a string quartet (or you can bring in whatever music you want, ipod, etc.).  Juliet was our contact person.
  • We will be going to a nightclub after the wedding and reception. Of course we don't anticipate too many people coming to the nightclub but I think it will be a great end to the night.

  • We used Trevi for dinner the night before the wedding. It was for 14, think. We were in the main dining area. It was quiet since it was a Monday. They were great responding to emails. I had pre ordered apps and they were ready within 5-10 min of us sitting down.

We are a group of Cape Bretoners so we are having our "reception" dinner and drinks at Nine Fine Irishmen in the NYNY hotel.  An Irish pub is pretty much perfect in our eyes! We have the patio reserved from 7-10 but their house Irish band starts at 9 so we will be moving inside for the night.
  • @keozie Nine Fine is really fun. On some nights, a step dancer performs with the band. Keep an eye out!
  • @keozie‌ - I'm a former Las Vegas knottie (May 2012) and a Cape Bretoner too!! You'll love the Irishmen - it's so much fun!!! Perfect for your crowd ;). We stayed NYNY too - great hotel.

@catherine21083‌ - we had our reception at Joe's in the Gigi Room with 30 ppl - it was perfect and people are still saying it was the best meal they ever had and it's been over 2 years!!! I'd pick Joe's again every time - ZERO regrets!
