I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post a jewelry question but thought I'd give it a try... has anyone ever seen a platinum engagement ring with a rose gold (or gold) wedding band? I think I want to do this, and all of my friends/family have given positive feedback, but I don't know if they're be honest. Do y'all think it would look bad? Thanks!!

    I don't think it would look bad at all.  Mixing metals is definitely not a taboo as it used to be.  I just googled rose gold wedding band and platinum engagement rings and some great combos came up.

    IMO, I think rose gold looks better with platinum then regular gold does.

    Most of the jewelry that I've seen with rose gold is mixed with other metals anyways. I think it looks really pretty.

    I have a rose gold wedding ring and a white gold engagement ring and I think it looks awesome! I can't wait to wear it all together at the end of July!
