I was just wondering how far out like how many months should I have the girls try on/look at/ and buy their dresses. Ive already bought my dress. I just didnt know how soon was too soon to get theirs. Thanks girls:)

6 months or so at the most I believe. I guess earlier if you really want to. But I would personally be worried about weight gain/loss when it comes to girls in over a year's time.

Agree with Meagan on the weight loss thing, but I think that I've found my BM dresses already, and I don't know if/when they'll be discontinued. So that will be the deciding factor on when I have the girls order their dresses. One of my BM just found out that she's pregnant. She's due in January, so I'm thinking that if I have to order these dresses soon, I'll have her get measured now, before she gets the bump! I think it's something you'll have to decide based on your situation.

When i went to pick up my wedding dress, the consultant told me to start looking in like October for bridesmaid dresses. But I think I may wait until January to actually make the appointments for the girls.

I am in the same boat I have 2 pregnant now one is due in august and the other in november so we will probably start looking in January after both of the babies are born :)

They have already started looking. November will be the latest I have them order because they can take up to 12 weeks to come in. I just want to be on the safe side and make sure they have enough time to have alterations done.

it says bordeaux, but it also comes in eggplant. I may have 1 pregnant BM for when the wedding comes around. I figured this dress would be fine for her with her belly if she has one for the wedding. I have BM's from size 0-24.

I'm worried about the dress we have picked out will be discontinued...the store said normall in November the designers decide which designs will be discontinued.

OMG ceglare that's soo pretty! I love prints! It's hard for me to just choose one color lol.. hmm thanks for the link! I'll have to browse around some more ;-)

I'm still pretty clueless when it comes to BMs and dresses and such. I guess I feel like I just don't know how to handle the situation! I still don't know who I'll choose and worse how to get them together, decided on something etc. Haha I think that's why I keep ignoring the task, it just gives me a headache!

We will see tho, my sister MOH and my best friend who is one of my bridesmaids are going dress shopping with me in September for my dress. We are going to try on bridesmaid dresses then too and see what looks good and what we like. Then report back to the other 2 bridesmaids so they can all make a decesion. I don't really care what they wear, whatever makes them comfortable.

see as of right now i have one pregnant bm that is due in july so i was thinking sometime after that. I also have girls in my wp that vary in size. My sister who is my MOH the dress that she tried on when I got my dress the lady said was most likely gonna be discontinued or something like that so that is the only one that I am really concerned about. So if we go sometime in the fall that should be a good time then right?
