Metropolitan Building's in-house caterer?

FH and i really dig the Metropolitan Building in LIC--thanks to recs from this board! there you can use their in-house catering (someone named Sasha) or bring in your own (ie. Chef Rossi). has anyone been had the food from the in-house person? hoping to bring my mom there to check things out on Sunday and I want to game-plan. (fingers crossed that she doesn't flip out when she sees it.) TIA!

    Sorry, can't help but you should ask to set up a tasting.  If in-house isn't willing, then you'd be better off finding your own caterer (I'm always suspicious if a caterer won't allow you to sample its food/course offerings). GL.

    i'm sure they would be willing to do a tasting, but i thought other knotties might have been there since so many have suggested the space to us! guess most have only heard about it or seen the website...
