Did you wait till closer to the wedding to order dresses?

  Since you're letting them pick whatever they want as long as it's the same color and length, then I wouldn't worry about this right now. BM dresses don't take more than a couple months, tops, to come in (unless there's a problem). So you really don't even need to decide this until like Feb/March of next year. As antsy as you are to do this, just wait.

  And to the bolded - lots of women work through their 9th month. Pregnant women are a lot more resilient than they often get credit for. Let HER decide if she can stand up in the wedding.

  Try to wait until around 3 to 4 months before the wedding to get your BM dresses.  This way, even if she is not pregnant then, she would only need to potentially order 1 size up from her current size.  I would try to get an empire waist dress, that will give her plenty of room for her potential belly as well.

  Agree with PPs. I just bought a dress a few weeks ago for a September wedding. It came in this week. By a couple months out she will be in the right place to choose a dress based on her circumstances.

  Wait as long as you can.  I will be 7 months pregnant at my best friends wedding and while the empire waist of the dress is great for the growing belly, what I didn't anticipate is how much my boobs would grow!  That in itself totally skewed the sizing.

  Thanks all. I am antsy on the dresses (and admittedly so are they) so I'll just have to pull back on the reins and wait a little bit. @BMoreBride6 - That was one of my concerns, even an accommodating style still has its challenges. @southernbelle0915 - I agree, I know several women who left work to go have their baby! Talk about working up until the last minute! Pregnant women are amazing! The choice is absolutely up to her, I simply don't want her to feel bad if she feels she can't be in it or feel obligated. I want her to be comfortable. And thank you for the great examples! I'll keep them bookmarked
