We are planning to stay in seperate rooms at our venue. Hopefully that remains the plan. We are getting married in the morning because I didn't want to stay away from him until the afternoon.
And the whole time, my future husband was in the room......
My MoH did not bring a date to the wedding so I stayed in her room after the RD. It was a lot of fun and was a really good time to just gossip, reminisce and put my mind at ease. Mike stayed in his Dad's cottage. Either of us could have stayed in our bridal cottage but we wanted to wait until the wedding night.

A lot of it has to do with the GTA being so large (in the sense that it covers a shitton of ground) and so many people live outside the core but work within it. Also because the weather is beyond crap for eight months a year, so for the other four they do construction. It's gross. The biggest highway in the world sits right here and doesn't help things any either really.

Ah gotcha. Construction always irritates me too, one of the reasons I have really grown to like living in a small city and I never thought I would say that.
We are staying together. Just like Salt we don't want to pay for an extra room just to be traditional. We will most likely wake up and have breakfast together then he will go to his brother's room to get ready while I stay in our room and have my Mom and SIL join me.
I'm looking forward to spending the night with my bestie! It's been so long since we have been able to spend "alone" time together. No, she isn't my lover haha! We just don't get to spend a lot of time with just the two of us.
I'm so glad that I read this thread - I'll be staying with my BM in a hotel the night before, but I hadn't thought about my FI being nervous! Maybe he will want to stay with someone...
we are doing our usual, which means separate places. although most of my things are in our new place (and all of his), i won't actually be moving in until after the wedding.
I'll stay at the apartment most likely with MOH, so we can freak out together. FI will stay with one of his friends, not sure who yet though. I don't want to see him until I'm walking down the aisle, I think it'll make it extra special!
We are staying seperately bc thats what I wont.. It's my one tradition that I want to keep.. and not seeing each other before I walk down the isle. i will be staying at HIS parents.. lol..as thats where we are getting married so it is easier for me to get ready..IDK where he will be sleeping, his brothers maybe???
we will be staying separate, which is normal for us, since we have never spent the night together. I will be staying at my moms house(where i live) with all my bridesmaids, and he will be staying at our soon to be apartment with his best man
we will be sleeping seperate NOT because i dont want to or our parents but because FI is very superstitious & doesnt want to jinks it!!!
also my hair apt is in the same town where my mom lives & an hr from the ceremony so it makes sense but i still don't see why he thinks we need to for goodness sake we live together aren't we already "jinksing it!!"...sorry had to get that off my chest
We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love
our wedding is 2 hrs away from our place.. my home town.. so we're getting 2 suites one for my girls and i and one for him and his guys and their s/o's will be together in another room. atleast that is the plan. if their wives have a problem with staying with the other girls they are going to foot the bill for their own room. They all know each other so it shouldn't be a problem.. so we're just staying with our bridal party the night before have a girls/guys night. i think itll be fun.
