Venues where you can bring in your own alcohol - Milwaukee (and surrounding area)

Does anyone have suggestions on where we can host our wedding and bring in our own beer, wine & alcohol?  I guess we never realized how expensive drinks can be when you want an open bar (or even beer & wine)! We'd like to get married in or around Milwaukee (Third Ward, Bayview, Walkers Point, Downtown, East Side, etc.).  Any suggestions will be helpful, thanks!

  • Have you looked at the county parks?
  • We're having our reception at the Black Swan Hall in Grafton which allows you to bring in alcohol.  It is a little north of the city, but not too far and the hall is really nice.  The owner has been great to work with so far too.  www.BlackSwanHall.com

This will probably be your best bet.  My friend last year got married at South Shore park.  Beautiful venue, and there is a bar/kitchen space there.  They also hosted an open bar and were able to bring all the alcohol in.
  • We booked at the Urban Ecology Center - it's BYOB with open bar.
