How much do you think you're saving on gas?

I didn't realize until I just checked but I think I'm saving about $40 a month on gas. I'm sure I'm wasting it on something else, but I sure hope prices stay down for a while.

    IDK how much a month, but I'm saving between $20-30 per tank it seems.  I'm not sure about DH.

    I cruise by my go-to station just for fun. I bought gas in the morning yesterday that was 15 cents cheaper when I got home ten hours later. Can't wait to see what it is today.

    No a clue. Gas is sort of like milk to me. We need it so I pay what it costs.  With all the rebates and everything it's hard though.

    So don't hate me ev1, but I drive a MINI Cooper and only live a few miles away from work.  My car gets like 35MPG.  I spend maybe $40/month in gas...and that is buying premium!

    She definitely likes her "car version" of Dom Perignon, but at least she is a sipper instead of a swigger, lol.

    No clue. I fill my tank up about once a month since I do so little driving so I don't really notice.

    My dad filled his Volvo station wagon for $0.18 the other day. Gas is $2.54 here and my parents have bought a shitload of things from Home Depot, so they just had to pay some of the tax on the gas they got.

    V- You buy gift cards at the grocery store (for any number of places) and get a discount on gas.  So, you're doing a home project you go buy $1k in Home Depot cards and that translates to $2 off per gallon. 

    If I know I'm doing a big shop for the kids I'll grab some to Children's Place and Kohl's.  When I was buying diapers and wipes for 2 I'd toss a $25 Amazon card in my cart each trip.

    Not saving a dime...  Reality bites... Gas may be lower, but the politicians are already screaming for tax increases because they aren't raking in as much from the gas taxes which fund most things except the roads/bridges they're suppose to...  But really, looking at my retirement fund, THAT is where it's taking the hit based on that's also down lately...

    Sorry to be confusing, 6fsn :).  Typical me.  The rare time I use shorthand and I chose an abbreviation that is a bit outside the norm!
