Calling all vegas brides!

Hi I am from the uk and will be getting married at caesars palace juno gardens on 26th august 2015. We are planning on having our reception at strip burger and then back to casino at caesars and into a suite for a after party. I have looked at nobus the sake suite. Has anyone stayed here? Does the room have a view of the strip? Can you bring in your own food and drink? I have emailed however no response as of yet and with time difference and expensive call rates I thought I would check here first! Also will The heat be unbearable in my dress in august at 3pm? We will only be outside for ceremony and pictures however since I have never been to vegas I am worried about the heat from reading other reviews! So please any vegas brides have info please help me!

I've never been but im going to say no. Here's why, on some of the other suites there they mention "strip views" and the sake suite does not. You can see the descriptions here: http://www.anthologysuites.com/las-vegas-suites-and-villas/nobu-hotel.html#.VKL3oF4AAA

Also I found a video shot at night time and they closed the curtains, if it was strip view you think they would want to show it.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQFs7bP2WL0

It will be hot as hell that day. You can expect it to be in the high 30C - http://weatherspark.com/averages/31890/8/Las-Vegas-Nevada-United-States

My wedding day was May 3, 2014 and we had it a heat wave and it was 36C that day and our ceremony was at 5pm. I had a lighter dress on and I was sweating from places I didn't know you could sweat in.

  • Temps in August are usually in the upper 90's to low 100's. 3pm will be hot in my opinion....especially in a tux and dress. If you can move it to later, I'd highly recommend it or make sure you provide umbrellas or fans to your guests (they will be sweating as Juno has no cover).

    Hi

I didnt view that room but maybe try calling them direct?

Outside caterers - generally most hotels won't allow outside caters however if your discreet about it should be ok...

http://www.vegasgroom.com (hes the lv moderator & his website has tons of stuff)

http://www.littlevegaswedding.com (very useful site, has pictures & info on insuite receptions)

http://www.masterpiececuisine.com/menu.html (masters of discreet outside catering for lv hotels - for alcohol you can buy from lees liquor, costco, walmart & bring it up in bags/suitcases & get ice from ice machines on your floor)

Also found another bride who queried this suite, maybe contact her & ask if she has further info:

Note sure if Nobu Sake Suite has a strip view - hope the above links help

    Congrats & best of luck

  • Thanks for all the feedback guys! I think we will have to move our ceremony time I don't want people getting ridiculously hot and plus my dress is tight and a little heavy. For some reason I thought it would start cooling down at 3pm haha thanks for all information on the suite think I'll have to ring up and ask since not a lot of reviews online. Does anyone know of any suites that you can bring in your own food and drink?

Definitely won't be cooling down at 3pm... Cooling down in August doesn't happen until well after the sun has gone down. Think 7-8pm or later. That's just something you have to deal with when you have a wedding in Vegas in summer - people will know it's hot, and will dress accordingly. Just try to limit the time you and your guests are outside. Keep that in mind if you were planning a strip tour or something else. The heat can be a real mood killer!

I got married in the Juno Garden at 3pm in July. I've only been to Vegas in July so I knew what to expect. It is incredibly hot but the ceremony only lasts ten mins and then you can head in and out for pictures. To be honest I didn't really see any other venues I liked and was keen to get married outside; no chance I'd get to that living in Scotland. 3pm suited best as I was keen to have a relaxing morning and for our meal to be around a normal dinner time. There was also a heatwave in July 2013 but I would do it all again. I wore a knee length dress that made it easier too. I have never really noticed a change in temp whether it's 10am or 10pm still incredibly hot.
  • Thank you for everyone's feedback! We have changed wedding to 5 since I was to worried about it being to hot/sweaty for everyone! For anyone wanting to know you need to use room service for food and drink at nobu and any suites/penthouse in caesars! We have decided against suite idea now. Who said a destination wedding in vegas would be easy!? Haha

You don't ask, you bring it in, and you tip everyone well.  Being somewhat discrete helps.

Example:  I had 17 bags for the bellhop to bring to our room.  I didn't have 17 pieces of luggage.  He earned a $20 for his troubles with a reminder to be careful as there was glass for "wedding decorations".

    Welcome :)
  • Hey,

I am also from the UK Scotland and will be married in the Aria on 2nd September. We had the same idea about the suite for the after party. We are going to book this out the night before the wedding to allow us to get stuff up there and definitely won't be using the hotels stuff. I have read lots of threads on here and it doesn't seem to be an issue at all. You should check out the cosmopolitan either wrap around terrace suites or penthouse terrace. The wraparound terrace not only gives you the terrace but an amazing view of the strip. It will depend on how many you are having. We have opted for the Aria panoramic suite which is lovely. It has nice views not strip though I don't think. The decor in these ones are lovely!! We will have at max 20 guests and our 3 years old - hence the reason for in suite party!! I've done loads of research and my hubby to be lived in vegas for 3 years. So if I can help anymore let me know!! Xxx

it's not full strip but the panoramic views do extend to the strip.  from our suite we could pretty much see the entire north/west side of vegas all the way to planet hollywood.

Here's the second half of the panoramic view (the strip view half).  Aria bellhops/valets will give you no issues with your alcohol/groceries.  You can't really see it but MGM/Mandalay/Luxor/Monte Carlo are all within view (behind the shrubbery in the first/second pic).

I wonder which panoramic AggieSpartan got...
  • Amazing photos and views!! Thank you!!

The view actually starts in the hallway.  You'll understand when you get there ;)
